This L31 Vortec Chevy 383 crate engine by Tuff Dawg Engines is an EXCELLENT mild performance engine to wake up that old, tired 5.7/350 powered pickup truck, Suburban or Blazer. This engine has a smooth idle and will work with the stock computer. This engine will fit earlier carbureted and 1996-2000 sequential fuel injection applications if you use the correct intake manifold. This engine does require premium fuel.

The balanced rotating assembly (typically includes crankshaft, pistons, rings, connecting rods, rod bearings, and balancer) featured in this engine:
