
This Chevy 496 612HP crate engine by Tuff Dawg Engines would be EXCELLENT for a street/strip car,
street rod, pickup, or jet boat and runs on leaded or unleaded premium pump
fuel. With 612HP @ 6000rpm and 570 ft lbs of torque @ 4000rpm it will set
you back in the seat. With it's roller cam and 4.250" stroke it has amazing
torque at all speeds. This engine still has 497 ft lbs of torque @ 2000rpm!
The balanced rotating assembly includes:
- New 4.250" stroke & index steel crankshaft with .125" radius
for added strength
- New 6.385" Forged I-beam rods

machined from billet steel. Thick wall poly lock nuts are used for
adjusting

load limiters to prevent over-tightening and higher temperature resistance

This engine comes completely assembled with drag/race oil pan, chrome
dipstick, aluminum billet timing cover with chrome timing marker, elastomer
harmonic balancer, tall chrome valve covers, and Edelbrock dual plane
aluminum intake manifold.
